Bachelor's Degree of Marine Science, UKM

*Marine science programme in UKM is divided into two majors, namely Marine Biology (which is more to biology of marine organisms), and Oceanography (which is more to Physics and Maths, studying about the sea, climate and etc). I am majoring in Marine Biology. Among the subjects for my first semester of first year are: Introduction To Marine Fauna, Fundamentals of Molecular Biology, Geologi Asas, Mikrokomputer & Teknologi Maklumat. My other elective subjects are French, Hubungan Etnik and Pengurusan Persatuan Pelajar. Basically, I am attending lectures 24 hours in total in a week, taking up 20 units for this semester. This is a 3-years degree programme. In total, one has to cover up 126 to 127 units in order to graduate.
